Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Alchemists Network collects, why we collect it, who can see it and what rights you have. We keep it short and in plain language. If anything is unclear, write to us at rise@alchemistsnetwork.com.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Alchemists Network is currently operated by A&M Business Communication UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Kirchstr. 126, 47509 Rheurdt, Germany, represented by its Managing Director, Andrew A. Porteous ("we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

If Alchemists Network is transferred to another company in the future, we will update this policy and inform members before the change takes effect.

2. What data we collect

When you join through our website or update your details, we collect: your first name, email address, WhatsApp phone number, the topic you chose (Finance, Health, Relationships, Spirituality or General), whether you are here to learn and/or to present as an expert, and whether you agreed to receive marketing messages.

We also record how you found us: the tracking information in the link you clicked (for example "came from Instagram" or "referred by a partner"), and the date and time you joined and accepted our Terms.

If you take part in the community, we also process what you choose to share: messages in our WhatsApp groups, and any introduction videos, presentations or recordings you send us.

If you buy a workshop, recording or product through us, we also process order and payment information. Payments are handled by our payment provider; we do not store your full card details.

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

To give you access to the community, send you the WhatsApp group link and welcome email you asked for, and run masterclasses and workshops. Legal basis: performing our agreement with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

To send you emails and WhatsApp messages about masterclasses, workshops and community news, only if you ticked the marketing box. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link or by writing to us.

To understand which channels and partners bring new members, to recognise experts who want to present, to keep the community safe, and to pay partner and affiliate commissions correctly. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running and growing the network (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

To meet legal duties, for example keeping accounting records. Legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

4. Our WhatsApp community: who can see your details

Alchemists Network lives mainly in a WhatsApp Community with topic groups (General, Finance, Health, Relationships, Spirituality) and an Announcements chat. When you join a group, WhatsApp shows your name, profile picture and phone number to the other members of that group, according to your WhatsApp settings. This is how WhatsApp works; it is not something we control.

You join the WhatsApp groups yourself, by opening the invite link. If you do not want other members to see your number, please do not join the groups, or check WhatsApp's own privacy settings first. You can leave any group at any time.

Your use of WhatsApp is also subject to the terms and privacy policy of WhatsApp (Meta).

5. Who else we share it with

We do not sell your data, and we do not give your contact details to partners or presenters for their own marketing.

We use carefully selected service providers ("processors") to run Alchemists Network, for example for our CRM and email system, website hosting, file storage, video meetings, video editing, payments and day-to-day operational support. They may only use your data on our instructions and to provide their service to us, under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR).

We will list our processors on this page as soon as they start working for Alchemists Network.

Some processors may be based outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we protect your data with safeguards approved by the European Commission, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, or rely on an adequacy decision.

If you join a partner's masterclass or workshop, that partner can see your name and what you share during that session.

6. Your videos and content

Any introduction video or presentation you create stays yours. We will ask for your permission separately, when you send it to us, before we show it inside the network or use it for promotion. If you leave, you can ask us to delete it.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your data while you are a member. If you leave or ask us to delete your data, we delete or anonymise it within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep something longer (for example invoices, which German law requires us to keep for up to 10 years). If you have not engaged with the network for 24 months, we may remove your contact details.

We keep a record of your marketing consent (or its withdrawal) for as long as we need to prove it.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to: see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, send it to you in a portable format, or object to how we use it, including at any time to marketing. You can withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect anything we did before.

To use any of these rights, email rise@alchemistsnetwork.com. We answer within one month.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, in particular in the EU country where you live or work. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW), Düsseldorf, Germany.

9. Cookies and similar technology

Our website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It stores a small amount of information in your browser to remember which topic you chose and which link you arrived from, so we can send you to the right WhatsApp group. The join form is provided by HighLevel, which may set cookies needed for the form to work. The website loads fonts from Google, which receives your IP address.

If we add advertising or analytics tools in the future, we will ask for your consent first.

10. Age

Alchemists Network is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to join. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with a new date. If the change is important, we will also tell members by email or in the Announcements chat.
